Rather than addressing one topic, today’s Briefing shares multiple prophetic dreams that help to instruct our intercession during this 21-day fast. WAR IN THE HEAVENS
Daniel was fasting for three full weeks before the supernatural events took place that we read about in Daniel 10. However, we find out later in the chapter, that angels and demons were engaged in conflict from the very first day that Daniel set his face to seek God. Similarly, we don’t know all that is taking place in the heavenly realms right now in response to the prayers of the saints, but we do know the Lord has been bringing revelation to keep us on target.
THE TOP OF THE HILL
Tuesday morning, when we met with our team to pray, we discussed the Texas lawsuit that had just been filed at the U.S. Supreme Court. As you likely know, this lawsuit challenges the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania (WMP) and Georgia, claiming that these states changed their election rules in a way that violated the Constitution and made it impossible to verify ballots and assure accurate conclusions for the 2020 elections, as well as future elections.
At the mention of this new case going straight to the Supreme Court, Chris Berglund shared with us a dream he had just had the night before:
In Chris’ dream, we were together with our team driving up a hill on a gravel road. There were very large potholes in the road, but we were able to maneuver around them. As we got higher up the hill, we all got out of the car and were walking further. Chris looked ahead and saw a small stream of water flowing down the hill. Yet, as he got closer, he realized a river was following this stream and it would completely wash out the road. At this point, Lou told everyone to get back in the car before it got swept off the path. We realized that this was the wrong road to the top of the hill and we needed to go down a bit to find another road that would take us all the way up. It was clear that the water was not coming from the top of this hill and we needed to find a way past the source of the flood so we could position ourselves higher than this obstacle.
The timing of Chris’ dream, in conjunction with the timing of the Texas lawsuit, has caused us to believe that this new case may well be the path that would get us to the top of the hill. It seems the “hill” may actually be Capitol Hill, and the authority of the U.S. Supreme Court may be the “position,” above the flooding water, that has been needed to rightly judge what has been going on in the election processes within these contested states. Even if this is accurate, the situation still calls for prayer for both the court and those representing the case. Please pray with us for justice to prevail… true justice that rolls down like waters from the very throne of God. (Amos 5:24)
GOD WILL REVEAL
On behalf of justice, Lou put out a video soon after election day in which he directed the Church to pray: “Expose, expose, expose.” Just recently, we received a confirming dream from a trusted intercessor:
In the dream I was with Lou Engle. Lou was telling me about leaders who were two-faced. He said: “They wear two faces, but God is revealing who they really are. They will have to show who they really are.” As Lou said this, I saw leaders in the Church and in the government taking their face off and putting another on. They would go back and forth changing faces very quickly. Lou kept saying, “God will reveal. God will reveal.”
Our sense in hearing this dream is that our petitions for exposure have been granted and we are to decree with confidence, “God will reveal. God will reveal.” It is also a reminder to us to agree with God regarding people being exposed as well as fraudulent activity. We believe we saw this happen a few days ago when Raphael Warnock, the Democratic Georgia Senate candidate, tweeted: “I am a pro-choice pastor.” It’s hard to comprehend how Warnock can proudly make such a claim, but at least he leaves no question as to where he stands on the issue of life for the unborn.
WARRING DRUMS
Recently, Dean Briggs, a friend and leader in Kansas City who also co-authored The Jesus Fast with Lou Engle, had a curious dream in which President Trump kept trying to invoke his assistance. Dean ended up contacting Lou to get his take on the dream, including a particular scene where a loud and persistent drumbeat was beckoning his attention. As Lou and Dean discussed these details, Lou recalled a dream from seventeen years ago that started with Native drums warring in the heavens. In the dream a voice said, “This is God’s war against abortion. Native Americans must lead it. African Americans must lead it. The whole nation must lead it!”
What started as a conversation between the two men eventually swirled into a prophetic firestorm when Lou and Dean began to share the dreams with leaders they knew among the First Nations people. It soon led to a very strategic prayer event that is planned for this Saturday 12/12 at 12 Noon.
This live-streamed event will begin with Native tribes across Canada and the U.S. who will join in playing their “warring drums” in synchronized rhythm across the continent. Then, Lou Engle and others will lead in prayer for the U.S. elections, the Senate race in Georgia, and the ending of abortion.
