Letter from the Editor

Well, our dear Briefing community, thank you so much for your prayers and support surrounding my back surgery in August. It's been a rough go of it these past weeks due to some unexpected complications. This week I’ll be having revision surgery to address some nerve damage that occurred. We are hopeful for the best and would appreciate your prayers once again as God redeems my situation. In the meanwhile, our team has continued to stand before the Lord, believing and decreeing the purposes that He has to redeem America! I am committed to sharing with you all that God is showing us as I recover in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, today’s Briefing is a condensed summary of our main focuses in prayer between now and the elections. We are convinced that this extended company of intercession is crucial to the turning of America. So, I hope this is a help to you as we all seek to run together in unified faith and vision.

077 - Four Focuses

Past and present revelation has us continuing to focus on the following objectives:

1. PRAY FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP

a. Decreeing his anointing as a Jehu (2 Kings 9-10) to avenge the household of Ahab and the bloodshed of Jezebel upon the altars of abortion and state-sanctioned immorality.

b. Declaring his purpose as a Cyrus for Israel (Isaiah 45).

c. Agreeing with his role as a Wilberforce to end the slave-trade of abortion.

2. RESIST THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL AND WITCHCRAFT

a. Declare the victory of the cross over the spirit of Jezebel and her harlotries in America.

b. This is also done through high praise and worship and biblical decrees. For encouragement, see 026 - The Mercy Seat. Here’s an excerpt from that post that depicts how the enemy is shut down when we stand up in authoritative decrees:

Chris also remembers seeing angelic highways being paved by intercessors’ declarations and faith-filled prayers. He was shown that there were witch covens all over America being disrupted and disturbed by what was taking place in intercession. He understood that we had to take our stand in commands and declarations just like Edwards did so that the witches would not be effective in their desire to stop these decrees. It was clear that the body of Christ was used to settling for second best when God was wanting us to believe and to work with the cloud of witnesses and the angels to accomplish His desires.

3. PRAY FOR THE USHERING IN OF REVIVAL

a. Pray for the gift of faith for The Great Communion Revival.

b. Pray for 100 William Seymours who will “see more” than the human realm and usher in the eternal realm where the color line is washed in the blood.

c. Pray for a net of salvation to be cast across the nation as envisioned in The Briefing 058 - God Does Not Lie .

“...Chris Berglund also had a remarkable dream in which he saw Aimee Semple McPherson stretching her hand across the nation to Ruth Heflin in Virginia. Ruth then stretched her other hand out to Derek Prince who was positioned in Boston. Derek stretched his arm over to Jack Hayford in LA. Jack's arm stretched out to John G. Lake in Spokane, Washington. Lake reached to someone else way up in Maine. The dream went on and on, involving more people than Chris could remember. The outstretched arms criss-crossed the nation making what was referred to as, "the biggest net the nation has ever seen!” As Chris watched these ones in the dream, they all kept saying, "God does not lie.” He knew they were referencing Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began…”

4. PRAY FOR THE ENDING OF LEGALIZED BLOODSHED

God loves America. He loves the people of this nation and He loves the purposes He has for America to be a blessing to the peoples of the earth. Yet, throughout the history of our country, the enemy has promoted the unjust shedding of innocent blood in order to destroy lives and to bring God’s judgment against our nation: First, there was the bloodshed and broken covenants of the Native Americans, then the bloodshed of slavery, and now the bloodshed of the unborn, which has given rise to many other forms of violence.

"As I live," declares the Lord GOD, “I will give you over to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you; since you have not hated bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you." Ezekiel 35:6

Fortunately, God has given us a prescription through scripture, as seen in Joel 2 and Psalm 50, to save the nation. Our journey up to this point has been driven by these passages. It gives great hope that God is partnering with His people to win the battle in the heavens over The U.S. Supreme Court, so abortion can be overturned. We believe that only then can we avert another civil war and see mercy triumph over judgment in America.

“Jesus, we plead your blood over our sins and the sins of our nation. God end abortion and send revival to America.”
