138 - Now Is the Time
He makes all things beautiful in its time. Ecc 3:11
The rivers of revelation are deepening as we continue in our Luke 4:14 Fast, led by Lou Engle. Just over a week ago, we received an intriguing report from an Australian intercessor named Nikki. She and her family were returning home from a visit to the UK when their flight was rerouted to include a stop in San Francisco. Nikki lay awake that night at the Hyatt House hotel, room #307, hearing the Lord repeatedly instruct her: “Shut enemy portals and open the Golden Gate Bridge from heaven to earth.”
She felt led to Revelation 3:7, where Jesus is described as holding the key of David: “What He opens, no one can shut, and what He shuts, no one can open.” She also discovered that the word "Hyatt" literally means high gate. Brimming with excitement for this unexpected assignment, Nikki was eager to obey.
The next morning, Nikki, her husband, and their three sons had just enough time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. There, they prayed for the shutting and opening of these portals before catching their flight. To their amazement, as Nikki declared the opening of the "Golden Gate," an eagle swooped overhead and soared across the bridge as if bearing witness to this divine mission.
A few days later, we were stunned to receive a similar email from an intercessor in North Carolina. The subject line simply read: “East Gate Open.” In their message, they described three companies of angels they saw deployed through this spiritual gate: one to the Crystal Coast of the Outer Banks, another to Cincinnati, Ohio, and a third to Los Angeles.
For decades, we’ve been anticipating a mighty move of God’s Spirit, one marked by miracles, signs, wonders, and a wave of salvations and transformed lives. Upon hearing these simultaneous reports of gateways opening, one of our leaders remarked, “This must be the time!” What she didn’t know was that Dutch Sheets had just published a prayer devotional earlier that day entitled: Now Is the Time.
In his post, Dutch highlights the biblical account from Acts 4, where a lame man was healed at the Gate Called Beautiful. He explains that the Greek word translated as “beautiful” is horaios, which actually means “the right time.” Dutch also shared insights on the month of Nissan in the Hebrew calendar (March 30 - April 28), which is known as “the month of miracles.”We believe we are in a convergence of kairos and chronos time.
Dutch announced that he is holding a Healing Summit on April 4th in Middletown, Ohio, not far from Cincinnati. He expressed his belief that we are in a timeframe where we are about to see a marked increase in supernatural healings and miracles. His understanding is that God’s people are receiving greater grace to apprehend the healing power that has been available to us in the finished work of the cross. Meanwhile, Dutch is encouraging churches and ministries to host similar healing events on or around this date.
April 4th is the same day that Lou is hosting the Field of Dreams Communion Service in partnership with Bethel Church in Redding, California. We sense the significance of Galatians 4:4 for April 4th: But when the time had fully come, God sent forth His Son. The word is going out across California and the nation: “Come to Bethel and be healed!” At the same time, there is a cry before the Lord: “Come, Jesus our Healer! Jesus our Deliverer! Jesus our Savior, COME!”
The movie Field of Dreams has long been a favorite of Lou’s. It tells a fictional story set on a baseball diamond in an Iowa cornfield, where faith in action opens a portal between heaven and earth. It all starts with a mysterious voice saying, “If you build it, he will come.” This phrase was prophetically spoken to Lou before his very first gathering on the National Mall in 2000. It is our hope, once again, as we prepare to gather this April on the ballfield at Bethel. It’s through the Lord’s coming - the power of His Spirit moving in and through His people - that miracles happen.
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” - John 14:18
Our friend Andrew Whalen had a dream in which he was at Bethel. A man approached him and cracked an egg in half. The egg yolk was split in two. Andrew looked at the man and said, “Hey, I know you! You used to break yolks a long time ago.” At that moment, the man replied, “Yes, and it’s now a full circle time - I’m here again!”
Andrew woke up excited, immediately receiving the interpretation: This is the anointing that breaks the yoke! We are coming full circle into a new day of anointing and the Lord’s power. He Himself is the anointing - Christ!
Chris Berglund had a dream after praying for one of our leaders in need of physical healing. He saw our team in a boat, crossing the Sea of Galilee in a storm. Suddenly, we appeared standing on the shores of conflict where we were confronted with witchcraft and powers of the air. We had to enforce the victory that was gained for us at the cross.
In the dream, Lou declared: "We have awakened the hearts of a generation with the Nazirite message, but now is the time to activate those hearts. It is time for the sick to be healed and the oppressed to be set free. We have exercised authority in dreams, and now is the time to display glory on the earth.”
We are in the “now” of God.
Chuck Pierce prophesied in 2020 that the Body of Christ is entering a new era - a decade of Passovers, where we will cross over into the promises. This is also the timeframe in which the Lord has inaugurated the Great Communion Blood Revival. Communion is our New Covenant meal, given on Passover, to commemorate God’s ultimate deliverance of all mankind from the bondage of sin and death. At the cross, Jesus not only died for our iniquities, but He also carried our infirmities in His body, so that by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24).
This Passover season, we believe it’s time for God’s people to cross over into the promise of a healing revival. May the Lamb receive the full reward of his suffering! As we gather to partake of the Lord’s Supper, let us engage our faith in His power and authority over every form of illness and infirmity. Just as in Jesus’ day, may it be said again: "Great multitudes came to Him… and He healed them all." (Matthew 15:30)
Lift up your heads, you gates, and be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! - Psalm 24:7
