030 - Hold The Hill
Letter From the Editor
Just prior to our recent 7-day prayer siege at the U.S. Supreme Court, I was awakened in the night by an audible dream in which I heard it said: “Hold the hill at all hazards!” I recognized these words as the historic charge given to Colonel Joshua Chamberlain and his regiment from Maine who were responsible for the defense of one of the key positions at the Battle of Gettysburg. If they had not “held the hill” of Little Round Top, the Confederate forces would have likely broken through the Union lines. Instead, on the heels of their heroic victory, the Union forces managed to turn the tide of the Civil War.
Today, without exaggeration, our nation finds itself in circumstances of similar consequence to that epic conflict seven score and fifteen years ago. There are “key positions” on Capitol Hill that will determine whether or not abortion is ended in America and if we will yet remain “one nation under God.” As we approach the shifting of power that will occur in the upcoming elections, I believe Heaven is charging us as intercessors “to hold the Hill at all hazards!” Therefore, in this timely briefing, we review a past prophetic directive along with recent revelatory dreams that we hope will inform and inspire your prayers in the critical task ahead.

THE BRIEFING 030 - HOLD THE HILL
A 40-Day Prayer Initiative
Last year, during the Feast of Tabernacles, Awaken The Dawn gathered thousands on the National Mall to tabernacle with the Lord in tents of worship and prayer from every state of the Union. This culminated with TheCall’s Rise Up gathering which catalyzed the cries of over a million women for spiritual breakthrough for our sons and daughters and a coinciding breakthrough in our nation’s courts to pave the way for the ending of abortion. This year on September 27-29, thousands of worshipping intercessors are rallying once again to Awaken The Dawn’s Tent America in every state capital. As both the biblical feast and this strategic prayer gathering circle back around, so has the prophetic word that James Goll released last year at this time.
James was shown that not only would this gathering be greatly significant, but the 40 days afterward were just as important. As documented in The Briefing 015, James understood that winds of awakening were being loosed across the land and we were to welcome their impact in Washington, DC. He saw the need for a 40-day period of focused intercession for the shifting of the Supreme Court so that the purpose of God’s heart could be fulfilled.
This year, 40 days from the central point of this week’s 50-state gathering brings us to Election Day, November 6th. Once again, it is time to watch the courts and to contend for the influence of heaven over the Senate hearings and the upcoming elections which will determine the gatekeepers of the next Supreme Court justices.
With the present and unprecedented controversy surrounding Kavanaugh’s nomination, Justice Kennedy’s empty seat is still hanging in the balance along with 35 seats in the Senate that are now up for re-election. It is reasonable to assume that the next 40 days may be one of the most critical seasons of spiritual warfare that has ever been waged in America’s history. Knowingly, generals of intercession around the nation are rallying their troops like the military commanders of old. Meanwhile, the Lord has entrusted us with several prophetic dreams to stir our faith and direct our prayer cannons in these days ahead.
A CLEAN SWEEP
Earlier this month, while intercessors were praying through the night at the Supreme Court, Chris Berglund dreamed that the court building had been cordoned off and there were workers sweeping the inside steps of the building. In the dream, our team asked who had hired them. They answered, “We are not for hire, we are commissioned.” We then realized that they were angels and they had been commissioned to not only sweep the Supreme Court, but would also be heading over to the Senate and the House to sweep there as well. When asked by whom they had been commissioned, the angels pointed to a sign that said: “Hill Air Force Base”. They went on to explain, “Marble was never meant to be painted. Too many things in this city have been painted. So, we are removing the whitewashed walls.”
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.” Matthew 23:27
How true and fitting this passage is today when the murdering of unborn babies is covered over with laws and arguments that claim the language of justice while defying it’s reality. May the authoritative prayers of the saints fully commission the angelic realm in this hour to sweep away the lies and the leaders who resist true justice from being established in our land.
UNSEEN POWER CENTERS
In another dream, intercessors were taken underground beneath the Supreme Court, the House and Senate, and then the White House. There were two massive engines that were functioning as power centers beneath Capitol Hill. The Heavenly escort said that these engines were to govern from below as we would take our place in the courts above. It was clear that the power centers had not been fully used to their capacity. The escort explained, “Too many eyes are influenced by what they see rather than the power centers which are unseen.” It was understood that when people’s eyes and hearts were double-minded, then the engines were not in operation.
We believe this dream is exhorting us as intercessors to engage our faith as we focus on God’s merciful plan to shift our government into greater alignment with His will.
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” James 1:6-8
ANOTHER TRUMP APPOINTEE
In a previous dream, Chris Berglund was shown that as we continue in daily prayer for Justice Ginsburg, she too would vacate her seat and be replaced by a Trump appointee. For this to happen, not only must President Trump be in office, but we will need enough pro-life votes in the Senate to confirm his nominee.
It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another... I will sing praise to the God of Jacob who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.” Psalm 75:7,9-10
Much has been accomplished over the past two years to bring our nation to the brink of a great turnaround. It is now time for another forceful thrust of prayer to advance God’s purpose through these midterm elections.
Please join us over the next 40 days as we fast, pray and vote to “hold the Hill” for the men and women of God’s choosing to be seated in these key positions of government.
PRAYER DIRECTIVES:
1) The Kavanaugh Hearings - Pray in the Spirit over the hearings and declare that truth and justice prevail. Continue to reserve Justice Kennedy’s seat for a judge that will overturn abortion.
2) Justice Ginsberg’s Seat - Pray for Ruth Ginsburg to encounter the saving grace of God. Meanwhile, decree with boldness and authority that her seat be vacated for another to take her place.
3) Warfare Over the Elections - Pray for the tearing down of strongholds over the elections and for veils to be removed from people’s minds and hearts. Resist the working of evil through voter fraud, lies, false allegations, and other demonic schemes.
4) Sweeping of the Court and the Capitol - Call forth the clearing away of every “white-washed wall” in the judicial and legislative branches. Agree with God for the removal of unfit leaders and the raising up of the righteous. Pray Proverbs 22:8 that those who have sown injustice would reap their due reward and their rod of authority would now fail.
