043 - A Catalytic Moment

We have reached the end of our 21-day prayer focus leading up to The Send. It has been great tracking with so many of you in prayer for the ending of abortion and the birthing of revival. Now, in preparation for tomorrow’s gathering, the following Briefing contains highlights from a prophetic explosion of events and revelation that have occurred over the past week. There’s a lot of ground to cover, so hold on tight and click to read some of our previous articles if you need to fill in any of the blanks.

043 - A CATALYTIC MOMENT
Last Wednesday morning we woke to the bittersweet news that Paul Cain, a great prophet to our generation, passed away. He died on February 12th at the age of 89. You can revisit The Briefing #023 and The Briefing #024 to read the miraculous story of Paul’s birth and the prophetic promises regarding Luke 4:18 and Stadium Christianity that marked his life and helped set our expectations for the coming move of God.
MY FATHER, MY FATHER
We have been struck by the date of Paul’s passing on 2/12 in light of 2 Kings 2:12 which recounts the very moment that Elisha saw Elijah taken up into heaven:
11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. 13 He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
Interestingly, it was on February 12, 2018 that Lou Engle was reading this very chapter and was anticipating the significant spiritual transfer that would occur at Billy Graham’s passing. Echoing Elisha’s word’s to Elijah, Lou actually wrote in the side margin of his Bible:
2/12/18 "I will not leave you Billy Graham, as you yourself live, I will not leave you until you let a double portion of your spirit (fall) on the next generation!"
Little did Lou know that just nine days later Billy Graham (see Briefing 021) would die and exactly one year later another spiritual father would transition to glory. Clearly we are in a time for the picking up of fallen mantles and the multiplication of the fruit of our forefathers whose lives have now been sown into the ground. May this transition point between one generation and another become a flashpoint of supernatural empowerment.
THE MINISTRY OF JESUS
Just last night, one of our leaders dreamed that the second part of Anna Cain’s prophecy:(see Briefing 023) “Luke 4:18 for Paul and for the world” was about to be fulfilled. At the height of Paul’s ministry, the astounding miracles, healings, detailed words of knowledge, and other powerful signs and wonders, gave us a foretaste of what it could look like to step into the scroll of Jesus. Let’s pray for the unrolling of that scroll across the earth and for the fullness of Jesus’ ministry to be manifested in our own lives and throughout His corporate Body.
CHAMPIONS AND CHAPTERS
We also received a dream this week about several other “champions” in the cloud of witnesses whose legacies the Lord is jealous to have stewarded in our time. Kathryn Kuhlman was specifically highlighted in the group. We understand from the dream that God desires a deposit of her anointing to be imparted at The Send and to be carried forth by a new generation. The dream also revealed that there are former “chapters” of history God wants re-opened in this season.
THE VIOLENT TAKE IT BY FORCE
It is evident that the activation God desires to bring forth as a result of this strategic gathering in Orlando is far more than a motivational shot in the arm. There are spiritual dynamics and Kingdom matters of generational legacy at play. Human zeal alone cannot attain what God desires to pour out. It is, rather, by spiritual violence that the kingdom of heaven is apprehended here on earth (Mt 11:12). God is looking for pure hearts and laid-down lives so the very fire of His Spirit can fall on us.
INHERITORS
Doug Addison, the prophetic leader who joined with us and Keith Ferrante in Santa Maria last April, said recently that the Courts of Inheritance are now in session. When Elisha asked to inherit a double portion of Elijah’s mantle, he was told, “If you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so” (2 Kings 2:10). We believe the same is true for us today. God is wanting to capture the attention of countless sons and daughters and make them inheritors of His power and His purpose. May we recognize the great invitation that is being extended to us in this hour of history.
Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:1-2
THE SEND
We understand that Saturday’s gathering in Camping World Stadium is meant to be a catalytic moment, not just for those present, but for the Body of Christ at large. Please pray with us for heaven to touch down in the stadium and for a divine exchange to take place in the hearts of men and women there and around the world. May there be a picking up of mantles even as thousands set their faces to pick up their crosses and follow Christ. Let’s intercede for those whom God has chosen to lead and impart to His people on that day. May they be fully led by the Spirit. Also, pray for yourself and for thousands of others to be prepared in every way to stand before the Lord of Heaven and Earth, saying, “Here am I, send me!”
