There’s prophetic intel and then there’s intel. As I write, Israel is under attack. Hamas has fired hundreds of rockets at Jerusalem and the southern part of the country since Monday killing innocent people and prompting retaliation strikes from the IDF into Gaza. Hundreds more rockets have been targeting central Israel Tuesday night with direct hits on cars, houses and buildings. This is the hour of the intercessor. Tonight’s briefing pulls together several revelatory dreams that speak to Israel’s current need for protection and salvation.

LIFE ITSELF
The visible often speaks of the invisible. There is war in the heavens over Israel right now.
Before the U.S. elections last fall, we heard from a young woman who had been uncertain whether she was going to vote. Then, she had a dream in which she found herself in the Old City of Jerusalem. In her dream, person after person approached her as an American and asked “Did you vote? Did you vote?” After this happened multiple times, she finally asked one of her inquirers why they wanted to know. A Jewish woman answered, “Because our very survival depends upon it.”
We received a similar dream from a Messianic friend in Jerusalem back in 2019. On the night of Israel’s elections, she dreamed that the enemy was trying to shut a door called “Life Itself,” but at the last moment she was able to kick the door open in her sleep. We must do the same right now in prayer.
Tragically, the political climate in the U.S. since the election has helped to embolden Israel’s enemies. Yet, the prophet Daniel foresaw a time in the future when, even in Israel’s worst moment, the “people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32). Let us therefore be strong at this time as well, as we take a stand in the heavens to restrain the murderous violence that has been unleashed upon the nation.

Even as we intercede for “life itself” for the inhabitants of Israel, let us also pray for their eternal life. And this is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent - Yeshua the Messiah (John 17:3). We know that God longs to show His favor to Zion and restore the Jewish people to Himself through His Son. So, he looks for an intercessor.
This past week we received a dream from a new friend named Anita who is an intercessor with The Briefing. Anita initially shared her dream with us in 2018, shortly after the death of Billy Graham. However, in the context of The Yeshua Fast, the dream took on a whole new meaning for Anita and for our team. Anita wrote:
In the dream I was in a convention-type facility with Billy Graham and a few others. Billy was getting ready to preach his last time (which happened in 2005 in Flushing, New York). I asked if I could pray for him and he was very happy for me to do so. After I finished praying, Billy got up to go to the stage where he would preach and I began to cry. It was a deep, cleansing cry that I haven't experienced since the death of my father. When I finished weeping, I noticed again that there were a few other people there. I immediately asked if they would pray with me for the salvation of my brother. Sadly, no one was willing to pray with me, so I began to intercede on my own for my brother who is not yet a believer. Then I woke up.
When Anita contacted us last week, she mentioned something that she didn’t realize was relevant when she first sent the dream in 2018: Anita and her brother are Jewish! This caused us to connect the fact that the very location of Billy Graham’s last crusade was also the former home of the United Nations Headquarters back when Israel became a state and was adopted into the UN. However, what really impacted us the most concerning the dream was that no one would join Anita in praying for the salvation of her Jewish brother!
This brought us to tears. Yet, at the same time, we were also encouraged. Currently, thousands of believers across the globe are joining in The Yeshua Fast and are actually praying for the salvation of Anita’s brethren, the Jewish people! We have not only become a fulfillment of Anita’s dream, but we are also playing a part in the fulfillment of scripture.
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Is 62:6
Certainly, this is no time to keep silent.
