Thousands of people around the world just completed 40-day fasts. Many are still partaking of daily Communion to exalt the cross of Christ and declare the power of His blood. Meanwhile, we are swiftly approaching what could be an unprecedented event in Kansas City. The skies are being cleared through prayer, and the stage is being set for a release of God’s kingdom activity here and in the nations of the earth. Today’s Briefing will inform you of key prophetic purposes that God has ordained for this time and region. But pay close attention, because these prophecies also pertain to each and every one of us.

Next month, on May 14th, tens of thousands of believers will gather for The Send at Arrowhead Stadium in the Truman Sports Complex of Kansas City. There is widespread anticipation that what takes place on that day will touch the nations of the earth and go on to impact Israel.
The ministry of The Send was initially birthed out of a prophetic convergence between Lou Engle and a handful of younger evangelistic leaders. Andy Byrd, from YWAM, now leads The Send and spearheads this collaboration of ministries in their common goal: to activate believers to live a missional lifestyle by adopting and reaching real mission fields at home and abroad.
It’s important to note that The Send never set out to meet in Kansas City. Amazingly, it was Arrowhead Stadium that actually invited them! After receiving this invitation, Andy Byrd connected with the International House of Prayer in KC to discuss this possibility. He was stunned to hear the 40-year prophetic storyline that revealed how God had chosen Kansas City and the Truman Sports Complex to become a beacon of prayer and revival.
It all started with Harry S. Truman who lived in and around Kansas City for most of his life. During Truman’s first term as President of the United States, he acted against the counsel of all his political advisers and officially recognized the modern State of Israel, on May 14th, 1948.
Thirty-five years later, Bob Jones, an unknown prophet at the time, encountered a young pastor by the name of Mike Bickle. Bob told Mike that because President Truman was a political intercessor for Israel, God was going to do a work in Kansas City to raise up spiritual intercessors across the earth for Israel and the nations, and this city would become an epicenter of revival.
In the earliest days of Mike’s ministry, Bob told him that the Lord would establish 24/7 prayer and worship amidst a global youth movement. Additionally, Bob said that God would place Mike and his congregation on Truman’s property in Grandview, Missouri as a sign of what was to come. This, of course, all came to pass.
Then, on July 3rd, 1984, Bob had a remarkable dream in which he saw Jesus seated on the ark of the covenant as it was being carried by young apostolic leaders. He saw them leading a procession from Truman’s farm on Blue Ridge Boulevard all the way to Arrowhead Stadium. The leaders carrying the ark were followed by a throng of people who had been miraculously healed from all kinds of physical diseases and disorders. Bob was also shown Arrowhead being filled continually with prophetic song and the release of signs and wonders.
In confirmation of this word, in 1987, Mike Bickle encountered another prophet named Paul Cain who shared with him an open vision he had over one hundred times in a twenty-five year period. In the vision, Paul saw Arrowhead Stadium, along with many other stadiums around the world, being filled with worship and the preaching of the gospel. He saw astounding miracles taking place among the people in the stadium, with news reporters covering it on television
For almost two decades, Mike Bickle’s staff and congregation treasured these words in their hearts and prayers. Then, in 1999, Mike was led to begin the International House of Prayer which has continued 24/7 ever since. Twenty-three years of day and night prayer has prepared the way for The Send in Arrowhead stadium and has created a hinge of history convergence for many streams of the body of Christ to flow into.
Amazingly, when the agreements between the Truman Sports Complex and The Send were all being finalized, there was only one date available for the stadium event. It just happened to be May 14th, 2022, the 74th anniversary of Israel’s statehood and of President Truman’s intercessory act of recognition. Clearly, our God remembers the deeds of those who please Him, as well as the words He has spoken through His prophets.
Many signs and prophetic voices confirm that we have come to a time of crossing the Jordan into the promises of the past 40+ years. We believe The Send Kansas City is a strategic and transitional event. However, it’s much more than that. It’s a divine appointment with God’s holy purpose for the nations and for Israel.
We hope you can assemble with us in Arrowhead Stadium on the 14th. But whether or not you can attend, please intercede with us for the brooding of the Holy Spirit over that stadium and the birthing of intercessors and messengers into the harvest fields of the earth. It’s time for the gospel of His kingdom to be manifest in all its fullness and proclaimed in all its power. Let’s partner together with the Lord in seeing this through to fulfillment.
