120 - A Root of Mercy
Letter From the Editor:
Jesus said that “from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Mt 11:12). May the same be said of us, even now, in the steamy days of summer. There are corporate events ordained by God that are often moments of climax or inauguration. But the day-to-day work of the saints is what brings us to those times. In today’s Briefing you’ll read some exciting reports of recent events along with encouraging dreams to fuel your ongoing prayers. Let’s engage our faith in what God is revealing, and share this Briefing with others who may want to move together in collective prayer and agreement.

A ROOT OF MERCY
We are in a continuum of history. Shortly after the presidential elections of 2008, Bob Jones encouraged us that none of our prayers had been wasted. However, he had been shown that the nation, at that time, was under God’s disciplinary judgment. Meanwhile, in seeming contrast to Bob’s word, we received a dream in which we “tapped into a root of mercy”. It was explained that this root was “like the power that raised Jesus from the dead!”
This dream was a seed that blossomed in due time. We shared it with Dutch Sheets when he came to visit Lou Engle and our team prior to the 2016 elections. Dutch went on to share the dream across the nation, as it tied into his own dramatic encounters about the currency of God’s mercy. Many were envisioned and awakened to the hope of God’s mercy that triumphs over judgment. Together, the ekklesia apprehended a window of mercy. Over the next four years, President Trump nominated three pro-life judges to the United States Supreme Court. On June 24th, 2022, mercy triumphed over Roe v. Wade.
In the dream of ‘08, the root of mercy was also called a “taproot”. It was even stated that mercy was “on tap”. We can see an application where the cross of Christ, driven into the ground, has become the taproot from which stems all of redemption. Now, with the spreading of the Great Communion Blood Revival, people everywhere are beginning to draw daily from that tap. Jesus’ blood is freely available to all who will come and drink.
This May, while 100,000,000 intercessors around the globe set their faces towards Jerusalem (see live broadcast), a woman in Kansas City dreamed of a golden chalice. She saw it flying through the night sky over Jerusalem, and then to the Galilee, the Golan Heights and Tel Aviv. She watched as it traveled south to Beersheba and then back to the North, East and West. The wine in the chalice was splashing onto the people and flowing down Ben Yehuda Street and the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. In her dream, she heard the voice of the Lord say, “Drink from it, all of you! For this is the blood of My new covenant that is shed for the remission of sins” (Luke 22:20).
In July, the cup was lifted up with broken bread outside of Independence Hall in Philadelphia. In the public square where our Founding Fathers declared freedom from tyranny, the sound of liberty rang forth once again. Peter Lewis, Lou Engle, Michael and Lorissa Miller and other representatives came to the Table of the Lord to re-covenant our country back to God. Tapping into the root of mercy, they pronounced forgiveness over the sins of our nation according to John 20:23 in the year 2023... “If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
Shortly before the event, Peter dreamed that Lou approached him and said, “We are those who have sown in tears, but it is now time to reap in joyful shouts!” It's not too late to add your voice to the prayers and joyful decrees that were released over our nation on that day. The livestream recording is available at Come to the Table, America.
We encourage you to continue to tap into God’s endless supply of mercy for your families, your states, and for our county. God has provided what we need for revival and reformation here and in the nations of the earth. The great evangelist Reinhard Bonnke prophesied of a "blood-washed America". This is the glorious task before us. So, let’s take Communion daily and steward the precious blood of the Lamb by which we have been given victory over the works of darkness (1 John 3:8, 2 Cor 10:4).
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Rev 12:11
